About North Gibson Education Foundation 

NGEF was founded and incorporated in 2017 as a 501(c)3 to come alongside the school corporation with the express goal of providing resources to improve and enhance the educational opportunities available to all North Gibson School Corporation students.

The original steering committee was comprised of individuals with a vested interest in the corporation for a number of reasons:

• alumni grateful for the education they received in North Gibson and looking for an opportunity to give back

• retired educators who had poured their lives into this corporation and were leaving a legacy

• administrators and current educators looking for ways to bridge the gap between what was needed and what was available

• parents in the thick of raising kids in the corporation and wanting them to have every opportunity available

• community and business leaders with a vested interest in developing a workforce and future leaders
