Winter 2025 Innovation Grants

2/14/25, 6:00 PM

NGEF spread the love just before Valentine's Day to award five more innovation grants for the 2024-2025 school year.

Congratulations to recipients of the NGEF Winter 2025 Innovation Grant Cycle. We look forward to seeing your projects in action!

PCIS Principal Austin Chamberlain has record-breaking plans for intermediate students. His $500 grant will purchase Dr. Seuss books to place in the hands of every PCIS student for Read Across America.

PCIS 5th Grade Teacher Brooke Reed is promoting both collaborative and independent learning as she prepares students to move on to middle school. Her $200 grant funds will purchase clipboards, desk dividers, and wobble stools.

PCIS Special Education Assistant Jennifer Brown understands the importance of easily accessible tools for assistants to use in the general education classroom. Her $500 grant will be used to devleop math inclusion kits.

Speech Language Pathologist Bryceann Cutsinger is passionate about helping students in crisis regulate emotions and return to the classroom. Bryceann will use her $500 grant to develop co-regulation boxes for PCMS students, similar to bags that NGEF previously funded for PCIS.

PCPS First Grade Teacher Megan Dewig has already witnessed the benefit of incorporating flexible seating in her classroom, using her own funds to purchase such items.  With a $500 grant from NGEF, Megan will add to the flexible classroom options for her students.
